African Amethyst & Sterling Silver Patterned Drop Earrings
These beautiful handcrafted sterling silver drop earrings each feature a gorgeous purple grade-A quality African Amethyst gemstone, set on a patterned silver backplate.
The earrings are made from a rectangle of solid sterling silver that is approximately 1mm thick and has been imprinted with a floral pattern using a rolling mill. They have been set with a beautiful round 4mm purple Amethyst, and oxidised with a patina to bring out the details in the design before being given a soft satin finish.
The backplate of each earring measures 2cm long by 1cm wide, and the earrings have a full length of 4.2cm from the base of the rectangle to the top curve of the hook. The hooks have been handmade using Argentium silver, which is a slightly brighter alloy and more hypoallergenic - perfect for anyone who is slightly sensitive to traditional 925 sterling silver.
These are a totally unique and one-of-a-kind pair of earrings, with a distinctive boho inspired look. They'd be great for gifting too, especially for anyone born in the month of February!

PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Due to weight and value, these earrings will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.
Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).
I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
