These beautiful contemporary T-Bar pendants each feature a gorgeous piece of genuine sea glass, wrapped in a bespoke handcrafted bezel setting made from fine and sterling silver. Each one hangs from 20" of either oval or rectangular trace chain and fastens at the base with a handcrafted T-Bar 'toggle' clasp. They have all been fully hallmarked by the Assay Office, London.

There are four individual necklaces available, each with a unique shape and colour - please select your chosen necklace from the drop-down menu. Exact sizes of each are given below (measurements taken from the backplate of the sea glass setting).

Cornflower Blue - 22mm long x 17mm wide x 5mm deep.

Turquoise Blue - 21mm long x 16mm wide x 7mm deep

Deep Seafoam Green - 21mm long x 17mm wide x 6mm deep

Soft Jade Green - 18mm long x 17mm wide x 5mm deep

Please note that this is genuine, ocean tumbled sea glass so it does contain the very tiny indentions and 'C' marks on the surface which were created as it spent decades in the water - these are the sign of its authenticity. These marks are not obvious to the naked eye but may be visible in the close-up photographs.

Each necklace has been oxidised with a darkening patina to highlight the setting and create a sense of light and shadow, before being polished back to a soft shine. The reverse of each backplate has a soft brushed satin finish, with the hallmark included just below the hanging bail.

Due to weight each necklace has been fully hallmarked by The London Assay Office as 925 Sterling Silver and also includes my own unique sponsor's/makers mark 'KAT'. This serves as a guarantee of authenticity to prove that the metal is of the quality and finesse described.

ABOUT THE SEA GLASS

Sea glass is broadly defined as glass which has been discarded into the oceans or on beaches, thereafter spending many decades being gently tumbled by the waves. This gives it the characteristic smooth edges and beautiful frosted appearance which defines it.

Every piece of sea glass I use is authentic, genuine sea glass – the pieces here were found by fellow beachcombers on the coasts of North East England where jewellery-grade sea glass is more abundant and of a more unusual and bright colour than the pieces I find locally on my own beach.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Due to weight and value, each necklace will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).

I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
